About Farouq Omaro:

I am an English language teacher currently with St Andrew's College Language School in Glasgow. Previously I was serving as a high school teacher in Malaysia since June 2001. I came to Glasgow to be with my wife who is undertaking a research in December 2020. I have a degree in English Language Teaching for Secondary Education from the University of Exeter (2001) and an M.A in Government & International Relations from the University of Malaysia-Sabah.  I have over 20 years experience teaching English mainly to 18 and 19 year olds. I am also a freelance writer interested in politics and social issues.

Teaching English as a second language since 2001 in Sabah, Malaysia to high school students, mostly 18 and 19 year old pre-university students. I am currently teaching English with St Andrew's College Language School in Glasgow.
