I am a Biomedical Science graduate with hands-on experience in microbiology, clinical sample processing, and laboratory safety. I specialize in preparing slides for microscopy, handling specimens such as urine, swabs, and blood, and supporting Biomedical Scientists in high-throughput environments. I am methodical, adaptable, and committed to maintaining quality standards and patient confidentiality. My goal is to contribute to efficient, accurate diagnostics in healthcare settings.

I am confident working under pressure, supporting Biomedical Scientists, and adapting quickly to new procedures. My strengths include methodical organization, allergen awareness, and a strong understanding of food hygiene—especially relevant in childcare and school settings.

As part of my final-year project, I investigated the antimicrobial resistance patterns of Escherichia coli isolated, using disc diffusion and biochemical testing. This experience strengthened my skills in aseptic technique, data analysis, and interpreting microbiological results in a clinical context.

I hold a BSc in Biomedical Science, where I gained in-depth knowledge of microbiology, molecular biology, and clinical diagnostics. My coursework included practical lab training in aseptic techniques, sample processing, and analytical methods. I also completed modules in chemistry and computer science, enhancing my ability to interpret data and follow regulatory standards.
