I am a PhD-qualified Toxicologist with extensive expertise in both in-vitro and in-vivo studies, OECD guideline-based toxicological testing, molecular biology, and regulatory risk assessment. My career encompasses research, consultancy, and academia, including roles as a Science Teacher, Research Technician at the University of Surrey, and Application Scientist advising industry on hazardous materials compliance and regulatory frameworks. I have authored and co-authored over 20 peer-reviewed publications and excel at translating complex scientific data into clear, practical insights.

Over the past five years, I have successfully adapted to a new country, environment, and language, developing strong resilience, adaptability, and cross-cultural communication skills. These experiences, combined with my background in research, industry collaboration, and teaching, have equipped me with a wide range of transferable skills highly relevant to consultancy, such as stakeholder engagement, project leadership, client advisory, and strategic problem-solving.

I am fluent in English and Persian and proficient in a broad range of laboratory and analytical techniques, including cell culture, flow cytometry, ELISA, PCR, GC-FID/GC-MS, and risk assessment. Outside of my professional life, I am married with a five-year-old son, and I enjoy knitting, cooking, and swimming, which provide balance and creativity beyond work.

• T-Level in Science

Program Ownership: Oversee the T-Level in Science program.

Teaching Responsibilities: Deliver lessons in Physics, Chemistry and Core A  of Laboratory science

Student Preparation: Organize and prepare students for the Employment Set Project.

Monitor student attendance.

1. Part-time research technician, Department of nutrition sciences, University of Surry (March 2023- August 2024, 18h/week)

• Contributed to various clinical trials study
• Involving in start and setting up experiments for various clinical trials study
• Derivatization of Isotope of Glucose, Amino Acid and fatty Acid in human plasma
• Measurement of isotope by GC-MS
• Measurement of glucose concentration in human plasma by Pentra (spectroscopy)

• Supported experimental design and preparation for biology, chemistry, and physics programs
• Managing laboratory operation including chemical/material ordering, compliance with Health and safety and technical troubleshooting

1. Part-time application scientist of Advanced Molecular Vision Ltd (January 2019 until January of 2023).

• Working as consultant with a variety of industrial customers to assess health and safety, regulatory compliance related to hazardous material.
• Recommending on compliance measures and adoption of monitoring/analytical tool.
• Suggest appropriate tools/instrumentations from the company that can be used for monitoring and measuring hazardous material. 

1. PhD Researcher – (October 2012-September2018) Tehran University of Medical Science

• Directed a multi-year research project on anticancer activity of Ficus carica latex in hepatocellular carcinoma, utilizing both in-vivo and in-vitro models.
• Led and mentored undergraduate researchers, providing supervision, project guidance, and academic development.
• Supported knowledge dissemination through journal publications, scientific reviews, and conference presentations.
• Delivered strategic research insights that contributed to broader understanding of toxicology and pharmacology in oncology.
