I would like to introduce myself as a candidate for the Sales & Marketing Coordinator at Edition Hotels. As a singular applicant, I hope that my candidature will capture all your attention and curiosity to give me the chance to discuss my motivations summarized below in a personal interview.
Throughout my entire journey, I had the chance to gain significant experience in diverse work environments. Indeed, as an independent person from a very young age, I have always financed my projects and studies through side or part-time jobs. This first introduced me to the world of hospitality and service, which taught me how to take care of the needs of a demanding clientele and to work under great pressure. These experiences, such as being a head server and hostess also gave me a taste for public relations and the desire to meet clients' expectations.
Further, I had the opportunity to work in multiple organizations in marketing, accounting, and administrative departments. It familiarized me with the life of teamwork in an office and the use of different computer and management tools. I learned to maintain a high level of accuracy in my analysis and to work in an organized manner that was easily readable by my colleagues and superiors.
Thereafter faced several experiences abroad - motivated by the desire to improve my language skills and to discover new places and cultures - I realized the importance of implementing theories throughout a pragmatic workplace. Driven to develop myself further, I decided to start a degree at Oxford Brookes University, which I will conclude at the end of the year. I am herewith presently looking for an internship between May and the end of August, which could depending on the satisfaction of such an internship, be extended into a permanent job by the end of the year.
These life and work experiences - conducted for multiple years in parallel with my studies – show I am a highly motivated, committed, and hard-working personality. I also consider myself a flexible person with the ability to think out of the box and constantly look for solutions.
