I am married and have been living in Thailand since 2010 with a Thai national with 1 daughter I am fun-loving with a great sense of humour and I enjoy meeting new people every day.

I love nature. the ocean and playing chess.

I’m honest, reliable and motivated to give 100% to any given task.

3 years ago I suffered a blood clot in my brain which left me with mobility problems in my arm and left leg. My school supported this and allowed me to carry on working and I have been successfully teaching 14 classes a week plus my academic duties. In short, It does not affect my work.

My skills summary.

 Management and leadership skills to oversee staff members and the day-to-day operations of the School and examinations centre.

•Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation

•Empathy and communication skills developed through personal experience and from teaching children of all ages in Thailand over the last 11 years.

• Positive work ethic, friendly and professional demeanour when interacting with parents, and teachers with an ability to defuse tense situations.

• Overall, I feel I possess a combination of technical, leadership, and interpersonal skills that make me a strong candidate for any role where good people skills are needed.

My achievements at work.

As Head of Academic Affairs at my school, I was tasked to create an educational project, something innovative and useful for the students at school so I introduced, built and maintain a school digital homework website for our students that encourages parents to get involved with their student's education from wherever they are in the world.  

My project was shown on local Thai television and I also presented it as a case study at the ICER International conference on educational research 2018 for which I won the best poster presentation.

•         I introduced and run the Oxford AQA Approved International Examination Centre. This was a first for North East Thailand allowing students to study towards, gain IGCSE, AS, and A LEVEL qualifications and sit the exams on the school grounds, without the expense of travelling to the UK. 

•         I built a second website to highlight the exam programme for the school.   I understand the need for professional coders in the world, so I introduced the Tynker programme from the USA to the school. This allowed students from grades 1-12 to acquire the skills they will need to get a high-paying job in the future.

I introduced and oversee the new Oxford International Curriculum (OIC)to the school. This was a first for Thailand and is a pilot scheme. It's all through curriculum which caters for early years to grade 9 Its focus is on a spiral approach to learning with an emphasis on well-being and global skills projects being integrated into the classroom.

My professional experience.

14 years of teaching experience in China and Thailand to students of all age groups and I have

worked for the same school for the last 11 years.

I have been learning how to run an Oxford International all through curriculum for the school and have completed many training certificates about the latest teaching techniques.

I monitor and oversee the personal development of all the teachers.
