Gaurav Thanki

I am a 24 year-old CFA L-3 candidate and I just appeared for the L-3 exam in the last week of May, 2022. I enrolled into a Ph.D. program and my tentative research title is ‘ESG in India: Perception, Performance and Promotion’. I completed my MBA with Finance and Marketing specialisation in May, 2021.  

Investment Analysis, Financial Modelling, Asset Allocation, Asset valuation, Portfolio management as well as effective Communication skills, both written and oral, are some of my relevant skills. More importantly, it is my desire to make a positive impact with my work which enables me to have a curious attitude.

I have done 3 internships, 2 of which were in Financial companies as a Financial Research intern. These 2 internships provided me with skills like Investment & Financial Research, Portfolio Management & Valuation. My 3rd internship had me as a Marketing intern in an Ed-tech company, which groomed my communication & presentation skills which boosted my confidence to create and manage relationships with stakeholders. 

I am currently enrolled in a Ph.D. course and my tentative research proposal is ‘ESG in India: Perception, Performance & Promotion’. I completed my MBA with Finance and Marketing specialisation in May, 2021 & was the Silver medalist. I completed my graduation, i.e. Bachelor's in Business Management (BBA) in May, 2019 & was the Gold medalist.
