After receiving an MSc in applied clinical psychology, I would like to continue my career in the applied clinical pathway, becoming an assistant psychologist and hopefully an accredited psychologist in the future. I have practical experience as an Autism support worker, as well as academic experience as a research apprentice at the University of Bath.

Autism Support Volunteer - August 2018 - September 2019
- Worked with children, teenagers and adults across the spectrum, to gain experience of autism, profound learning difficulty and behaviour that can be difficult.
- Gained experience working with people with non-verbal autism as well as social anxiety, OCD and selective mutism.
- Assisted adults in the community as well as children in their homes or at playschemes.
- Responsible for organising activities for service users such as outings, active play, messy play, music and art activities. Assisted clients in accessing equine therapy.
- Worked as part of a multidisciplinary team, including carers, behavioural specialists, speech therapists and psychologists to help service users to achieve their goals.
- Worked within a family support plan towards targets such as managing anxiety, accepting negative emotions and achieving independence. Filled out log sheets after each session to discuss progress with a supervisor and create goals for the next session.

Project Coordinator - October 2015 - December 2016
Responsible for the coordination and governance of a senior management training course serving over 1500 candidates for a leading rail infrastructure company. This involved:
- Client liaison up to executive level, including dealing with complaints and attending commercial meetings.
- Financial administration for the project, including budget management.
- Acting as the first point of contact for all students, trainers, clients and associates.
- Aggregated and analysed monthly client feedback to improve the project.
- Assisted over 20 associates including psychologists, actors and subject matter experts to ensure the course is delivered to a high standard. This included venue liaison, accommodation and travel arrangement and ad-hoc administrative assistance.
- Simultaneously performed the same role with a number of smaller projects across such verticals as banking, local government and technology. These projects ranged from specific functional training courses to wider change management and communication workshops.

- This included calendar organisation, venue liaison, travel and accommodation coordination. and providing ad-hoc administrative support.

MSc Applied Clinical Psychology
- Dissertation was a quantitative study testing the efficacy of virtual reality meditation software in increasing feelings of relaxation after stress.
- Other coursework included a statistics module, qualitative interview analysis, evaluation and risk assessment of culturally-adapted therapy, exploration of the transdiagnostic approach, idiographic assessment methods and a clinical report using CBT formulation and graded exposure.
Research Apprenticeship Scheme
Extracurricular (2021)
- Evaluated open-ended survey responses relating to a digital behaviour change intervention for COVID-19, which has since been rolled out to GP services across the UK and translated into 20+ languages.
- Gained experience with qualitative analysis using NVivo software.
