I previously held a post in the documentation/editing field working for Revs Transcription, where I documented notes, transcribed information, and edited the final piece, on a secure online web page. As each new task was timed, it was imperative that I work efficiently and quickly. Additionally, each document must be written with extreme attention to detail as the task would be revoked if there were too many mistakes or the deadline passed. Whilst an English Instructor in South Korea, the research and development team tasked me weekly with proofreading and editing academic information aimed at those with English as an additional language. These were often lengthy pieces used for the company produced English Language Learning textbooks. From my previous work experience in administration within the government, I have sufficient knowledge on organising information, sending mail and email, editing in-house documents, and managing diaries and schedules. I have a long history of administrative experience gained through educational positions and administrative roles, so I am thoroughly proficient in Microsoft Office and overall technically savvy. 

I have possessed a strong passion for the English Language since I was a child, which encouraged me to pursue a BA (Hons) in English Language and Linguistics and an MA in Applied Linguistics. Completing education to MA level signifiesI have been writing and editing research papers and scholarly articles for seven years, including for friends and family. I have extensive experience with working to tight deadlines and multi-tasking. I possess a strong ability to work well under pressure and organise effectively.
