I am currently the Maintenance Manager at Kautex Unipart Manufacturing. With over 13 years of experience in maintenance management and a proven track record of exceeding company expectations, I am confident in my ability to contribute effectively to your team.

During my tenure, I have consistently surpassed company goals, achieving outstanding results for four consecutive years. My recent score of 4.6 in the Unipart employee engagement yearly survey reflects my commitment to fostering a positive and productive work environment. I have successfully managed the decommission and removal of unused equipment, saving tens of thousands, to make way for new business, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

I am highly respected across all areas of the business for my valuable input and continuous improvement initiatives. I have designed and developed various concepts and methods to enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and reduce scrap levels below the agreed objectives. My hands-on approach, especially when my team is stretched, demonstrates my dedication to supporting my colleagues and ensuring operational efficiency.

I am enthusiastic, hardworking, and passionate about my work. I have extensive experience managing contractors, supporting Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) initiatives, and leading diverse teams. My expertise in A3 fault finding and the use of Gate to Great tools has been instrumental in driving continuous improvement. Additionally, I have a strong desire to succeed.

One of my passions is coaching apprentices and team members on fault-finding techniques and other skills I have acquired over my 38 years in engineering. I believe that nurturing talent and sharing knowledge is crucial for the growth and success of any organization.
