Our team at 3A Labs innovated on western blotting protocols for clarity in results, leveraging my cell biology and laboratory technique proficiencies. During my placement, I embraced the complexities of scientific research, contributing significantly to experimental planning and data presentation.
As a Student Ambassador, my role extended beyond event planning; it involved being a pivotal figure in outreach programs and scientific tutoring, where I honed my training and communication skills. My educational journey at Royal Veterinary College is drawing to a close, but it has equipped me with a strong foundation in Bioveterinary Science and a passion for scientific innovation and community engagement.

- Networked within the scientific community through the CEO of 3A Labs and communicated with external companies for example Bio-Rad and Li-Cor on behalf of the company, building good rapport with external companies
- Innovated and contributed to experimental planning refining experimental protocols ensuring accurate results.
- Techniques include immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry, immunoprecipitation, flow cytometry, western blotting and imaging.
- Processed and presented data meeting deadlines under time pressure, ensuring all project deadlines were met
- Maintained and organised laboratory notebook resulted in experiments being planned and executed with excellent quality
- Handled and labelled biological samples safely and disposed of biological materials correctly according to standard procedures
- Developed presentation skills by presenting data every week to the team
