I am a recent graduate from Manchester School of Art, specialising in Textiles in Practice. I have strong embroidery skills, hand and machine, weaving, on a loom and by hand. I am a multi disciplinary artist and can work with a range of mediums such as gouache, acrylic paints, watercolours and dry mediums. I can also use basic PhotoShop & Illustrator.
Experience
I have worked as a freelance artist on a range of projects. An example of these are:
42nd St charity: installation in Manchester City Centre for Mens Mental Health in construction
Whitworth Art Gallery: creating and designing hand-made items inspired by collections in the gallery, to sell in their shop. using the laser cutter and sewing machine to create bags And purses
Transport for Greater Manchester & RNIB: collaborative project on making the metrolink more accessible for those with visual impairments. designing ideas and visualisations on photoshop and presenting them to senior members of the company.
local councillors: delivering a green greening event in Salford to get children into gardening. Bringing an arts theme into the project and designing/painting plant pots to make it fun and interactive

Manchester Metropolitan University:
graduating with a 2:1 BA (Hons) in Textiles In Practice
