I have a degree in Early childhood studies and over 13 years experience of working with special needs, behaviour and vulnerable children.

After achieving a substantial amount of  training in Autism, behaviour, Safeguarding and CPI Mapa training, with this I learnt different techniques of defusing difficult and challenging behaviour. This provided four key learning objectives: Identify behaviour that indicates an escalation towards aggression and violence, and take appropriate measures to avoid, decelerate and/or de-escalate crisis situations.

I have developed my ideas further by implementing techniques to help children from Early years right up to key stage 2.
