Harry Newnham
Engineering / Architecture
About Harry Newnham:
In 2014 I worked as an Aerospace Engineer Apprentice, where I learned: What a customer’s demands are, how to fulfill those demands and meet their expectations to a high quality with all demands met. This was achieved by spending 2 months in quality control. My role was to ensure the product met the customers’ demands and expectations, with a high standard. To fulfill this, I finalised products by hand, meaning every detail was looked at.
After I left aerospace engineering, I decided to further my skills by attending another college. I understood from early on, that I would need wider knowledge to have an upper hand if I was to pursue this career and boost my own portfolio to provide a higher-positioned job within aerospace engineering.
After I completed my engineering course, I had 2 years of free education. I dedicated 2 years to Music education, where I studied music at BTEC and A levels.
I’m an ex-rugby player for my local town. Played in two finals, won the South of England Shield, whilst playing at my school/college until I turned 20. Keeping my fitness up helps me stay focused and complete tasks that unfold, with little to no stress and retain my high motivational mindset
Experience
1-2 years of experience in aerospace engineering at W G Jones, where I learned working knowledge of engineering systems, health and safety, and ICT fundamentals. Completed work experience as part of my college qualification and have a passion for improving my knowledge and experience within a new company. Self-motivated and results-oriented with a positive outlook and dedication to customer satisfaction.
