Hashim Iqbal

Hi my name is Hashim Iqbal I’m 18 years old I study business level 3 at solihull College. My hobbies and interests include going to the gym and reading finance books as well as going out with friends and family in town.

I am actively looking for part time work at the moment particularly in retail as I have the necessary experience for this kind of industry. 

My professional experience is as follows my first job was at KFC in January of 2022. The job role included taking orders on the till as Well as packing orders and preparing fries and burgers for delivery and takeaway. On occasion I would also clean the store and wash up. I left KFC in April of 2021.

In May I decided to work at Shake house Sutton colefield as a family friend had recently opened a business and I wanted to get more hours and I felt this would be a great opportunity. My job role includes preparing smoothies, milkshakes, cakes, and hot deserts. As well as taking orders on the till and delivering excellent customer service. On occasion depending on my rota here I would clean the store and wash up. I still work at Shake house part time 10 hours a week but I am looking for a job in retail as I find it more enjoyable.

Finally in November of 2022 I worked a part time job at farm foods in castle Bromwich. Here my job role included being on tills and having excellent customer service as-well as stacking shelves and facing items during and after shift. This job was temporary for the Christmas and new year rush so I left in January. 

I am currently studying at Solihull college doing a business level 3 extended diploma
