For this position I was responsible for the preparation of food for customers. I also help prepare for busy periods by organizing ingredients and restocking supplies for expected loads. Maintained clean and sanitised work area in accordance with food safety guidelines, avoiding cross-contamination of raw and prepared food products and ensuring all utensils, dishes and glasses clean and ready for customer use. During busy periods I would help Front of House staff and the Bar Staff to maximize team coverage.

My Job as a house keeping assistant involved many different responsibilities which I have listed below.
• Kept bathrooms clean and sanitary by disinfecting baths, sinks, showers and toilets after use.
• Used tools such as hoovers, mops, sweepers, dusters and carpet cleaners to deep clean floors.
• Cleaned clothes, towels and other laundry using washing machines, tumble dryers and steamers.
• Kept rooms dust-free and clean by dusting ornaments, objects, tables and furniture.
• Kept windows, doors and building exterior clean by using glass cleaner and pressure washers.
• Completed all cleaning tasks as requests by management within set timeframes and to high-quality standards.
• I also was required to keep up to date with all mandatory training including COSHH and I also completed a Moving and Handling training course.

Re-joining the staff at Nairn Dunbar gold club, I took on the role and responsibilities of Front of House staff which occasional required me to work in the bar.

I recently completed my Level 6 Childhood Practice Qualification. Due to the ongoing Coronavirus situation my whole course was completed remotely which meant we unfortunately did not get the chance to participate in any work placement. We instead did a higher in childcare and development. My results for this are yet to be confirmed, however I was predicted to obtain an A.

At present, I am currently studying for my HNC in Childhood practice, I have done 7 weeks in total placement at Cawdor Primary ELC and feel observations and interactions with staff and the children within the setting have greatly aided my developing knowledge and understanding. I at present have passed all my assessments and have 1 final block of placement to carry out. I will be finished this course the beginning of June however, will be aware of if I have successfully passed the course at the end of May 2022.
