Hermione Starey

Hardworking second-year Economics student, enrolled on an Integrated Master's. I have a strong work ethic and aptitude to engage at an extended level of learning and participation, receiving a Dean List award for academic achievement and a First for Year 1 and a First in year 2 semester 1. I´m looking for a summer job to gain experience and exposure in a real-world setting.

I have experience in customer service and delivering events to a high standard bringing enthusiasm. I have strong teamwork skills developed through multiple university projects as well as my role as Vice President of the gliding club. I have a ‘can do’ attitude and have excellent communication skills. Other interests include music, art and running. 

I have experience in customer service working at Garsington Opera House as a seasonal employee as front-of-house staff. I bring enthusiasm and great team skills providing services to ensure customers are happy and reach production in a timely manner.

I have helped volunteer at gliding events with ‘Go Gliding’ which is a day with multiple activities for prospective glider pilots. I ensure the safety and welfare of students as well as bring support and enthusiasm. I also take photos for social media for marketing material throughout the day.  

Integrated masters degree at the University of Southampton studying Economics. A-levels achieved in Maths, Economics, Geography and EPQ at St Helen & St Katherine, Oxfordshire, as well as 11 GCSEs.
