I am an illustrator with over 5 years of professional experience on a variety of different platforms and industries. I create digital artwork but also love putting brush to canvas. When creating digital artwork, I generally use a mixture of Procreate, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Below are some examples of companies I have worked for on illustrative and design projects.

 

Spiral Productions - Illustrator (character and background illustrations for animation)
I had to draw a variety of backgrounds from sketch to final, including: deserts, oceans, cityscapes and interiors, including sports arenas and stables. I also had to draw many animals, human and boats in this project, some of which were animated.


Dubit Limited - Illustrator (2D artwork for games)
At Dubit I worked as an illustrator to create artwork for a 2D childrens game. I created backgrounds, assets and buttons using AI and XD to hand over to the developers, working under the guidance of the art director.


RFA - Illustrator / Designer (permanent role) 
At RFA worked on animations, pitches, websites, email banners, social tiles and stories, iPad presentations, brand guidelines, printed leaflets, posters, leave pieces, etc.

I worked as an art director and was in charge of briefing external resources such as freelance animators or illustrators; I’ve also been involved in the filming of voiceovers for animations and have experience animating within both Premiere and AfterEffects to create motion graphics.


UCL - Illustrator (character design and storyboarding)
UCL wanted to make a short animation that would teach children (aged 3–7) about giving consent for researchers to use their data... and what a researcher even is in the first place! My role involved designing characters, drawing up storyboards and creating the final illustrations, ready for animation.


Complete control - Illustrator (2D artwork for childrens books)
I worked as an illustrator with Complete Control on a series of 70+ childrens picture books called the Actiphons. They were published by Penguin are available to buy.
