A recent graduate in Supply Chain and logistics management from University of Portsmouth.A driven & professional freight forwarder with extensive experience in managing import sea freight shipments from start to finish in UK and air freight in India. Currently seeking a new position in which I can advance my career in the medium to long term,and expand on my industry experience gained to-date. Experience

·        Streamlining Import   Operations: Proficiently manage the day-to-day import via a Sea Freight(under DDP and CRF terms), ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services.
·         Effective Coordination: Foster and maintain a collaborative relationship between internal and external stakeholders, facilitating seamless operations and enhanced efficiency.
·         End-to-End Job Management: Complete all Import and Cross Trade activity on schedule and correctly complete Customs declaration papers. Track down overdue client payments.
·         Supplier Management: Evaluate and oversee our existing network of suppliers, guaranteeing the highest standards of service and reliability.
·         Custom clearance: Ensure all operational activities and invoicing are completed on time. Complete all client and import invoices accurately. Arranging goods pickup, coordinating shipment, and releasing instructions to parent company or third party.
·         Other basics task: Tracking a shipment, Engaging in communication with a parent company in order to obtain an estimate for haulage services and coordinating with a consignee for a suitable time frame.

Key Responsibilities 

 

  • Working beside client at their location DHL.
  • Extract, process, analyse and summarize shipment data. 
  • Responsible for ensuring the required logistics documentations in compliance with required regulatory. 
  • Reporting to Head - Operations and managing the full logistics cycle from start to finish. 
  • Managing logistics for global clients like Nike, Halliburton, Patanjali, Tata, etc 
  • Managing Management Information System (MIS) for clients goods, taxes, invoices, shipments, payments, etc. 
  • Interacting with customers at various stages of the logistics process and providing status of a shipment, delivery, etc. 
  • Coordinating with local transporters to understand their requirements and streamline our operations accordingly. 
  • Leading a team of 3 logistics engineers to manage day-to-day activities.
  • Working with a diverse team of professionals with a background in engineering, management, legal, etc, and contributing to team growth targets as per company goals and objectives. 

 

 

 

 

Education

     ●   Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering)  in 2019 from Mumbai University.

     ●   Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) in  2016 from MSBTE.

     ●   Higher Secondary (12th Standard) in 2013 from Maharashtra State Board.

     ●   Senior Secondary (10th Standard) in 2011 from Maharashtra State Board.
