Key Responsibilities

As a Lance Corporal, my key responsibilities include;

• Overseeing the work of small teams of junior soldiers to ensure that all tasks are completed to the correct standard. 
• Delegate incoming work appropriately to ensure workloads are evenly balanced
• Manage the organization and time management of my team 
• Responsible for the specialist tools store room which includes ensuring all calibration certificates are in date and all equipment is maintained to the appropriate standard
• When off base, I am responsible for the basic needs and requirements of my team members as well as keeping them motivated throughout using various leadership techniques.

In my role as a Mechanical Engineer, my key responsibilities include;

• Adapting to new technology and environments as necessary 
• Maintaining good time management to ensure all projects are completed on time
• Using my problem solving skills to analyse how best to approach challenging jobs such as ensuring a fleet of vehicles is task worthy to be used in the field on short notice.
• Working quickly and efficiently when time critical projects are allocated to my team. 

Advanced level apprenticeship in Engineering Manufacture in the Science, Engineering and manufacturing technologies ( completed June 2019)
