Executive Officer - Work Coach - 10/05/2021 - Present

  • Developed problem solving skills having to adapt in a constantly changing, customer centred environment. Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Took opportunities to expand responsibility, personal development and increase ability to help clients by becoming a Work Coach.
  • Managed claimants personally by attending and arranging regular meetings by phone and in person with them. Learned to defuse tension and create rapport to ensure client will get all the help they need

  • Delivered customer service assistance to claimants, including general admin and account recovery. Provided extra support if claimant was financially struggling
  • Verified documents including ID, claimant account details, capital review and habitual residency tests on behalf of the work coaches
  • Liased with a wide range of clients and ensured clients' needs were properly addressed.
  • Supported work coaches by acting as front of house, reducing team admin and claimant waiting times.

  • Worked alongside completing a degree. Gained contacts to assist in degree research, conducted interviews and built up report writing skills.
  • Analysed Youth Crime and Prevention, writing reports on how mental health and outside factors can affect young people and criminal behaviour.
