I am a senior social care manager with over 14 years’ experience and knowledge of care principles, standards, partnership working, techniques and practices and their application to social care settings – autism, nursing, challenging behaviour, supported living, domiciliary care, adults, and children services. Of this, I have 9 years’ experience of working as a senior manager with senior management team experience and multi-site experience of radically transforming services. I have high level skills in ensuring robust assurance systems are in place and is adept at managing and mitigating risks within both a strategic and operational basis. I am results oriented and is considered a high-energy leader with a reputation for integrity, innovation, and quality. I am also team oriented with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills who brings creativity and enthusiasm to the workplace in achieving objectives through people development and collaboration. I have a good work-life balance, and several interests which take me away from the world of work such as reading books, long walks, running, watching football and movies. I also do voluntary work for my local church charity helping the most vulnerable in the community.
