My name is Godpower Ikegwuru , and I am excited to apply for the Home care worker position at Bebee. I possess valuable qualifications and experience in this field, and enjoy supporting those from vulnerable sectors of the community.

I am currently seeking to consolidate my skills and gain more experience as a Home care worker. I possess a wealth of knowledge regarding effective healthcare practices and industry regulations. As part of the qualification, I carried out work placements in hospitals and gained an all- round knowledge of providing care to people with differing needs, including the elderly and people with impaired physical and mental health, during the course of which I learnt about health and safety and manual handling.

My knowledge and interest in this field of work has been further strengthened through working as a Healthcare assistant in my community hospital,I was responsible for administering a high level of care to patients and I also met regularly with their families to offer advice and support. The position required exceptional interpersonal skills and a friendly and sensitive nature as I frequently encountered difficult situations.

I am computer literate with excellent literacy and numeracy skills. I excel in team environments as I focus upon sharing responsibilities and supporting others, though I am equally proficient at working independently with minimal supervision. I am familiar with prioritising my work to meet deadlines.
