Ilona Serafin

I am a PhD-qualified Chemist/Colloid Scientist with experience in formulation, materials characterisation, stability assessment and advanced experimental techniques. I have worked in international multidisciplinary teams, managed complex scientific projects and written successful proposals. Skilled at science communication. 

I hold a PhD from the University of Bristol, where I investigated non-aqueous surfactant systems and microemulsions, and their response to changes in temperature and pressure. I used advanced characterization methods, including small-angle neutron scattering. I have designed experiments, led small teams, managed projects and communicated findings at conferences. Familiar with risk assessment procedures, I have worked in controlled, safety-critical environments.
