Ingrid Bird

An enthusiastic hardworking individual, I recently graduated with a bachelor of science in marine and freshwater biology. I have worked in several different fields, from interning at a major corporation to waitressing to teaching. An independent thinker with keen intellectual curiosity along with a natural ability to work collaboratively, in a variety of conditions, has produced positive results in any work I undertake.

I am currently training as a primary school teacher and have worked abroad as an ESOL teacher in Shanghai as well as online from 2020. Before that I worked as a waitress for Saphan Thai in Aberystwyth as well as Albion house hotel in Ramsgate from 2018. During and before 2018 I worked as an intern for Kendo brands and helped on corporate projects and launches for products both in the office and in the field.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Marine and Freshwater Biology I acquired at Aberystwyth University in Wales, as well as three A-levels in Geography, Biology and English literature.

In addition to this I have 11 GCSE’s A* - B with an A in English Language, B in English Literature, B in Maths and three B’s for Triple Science. My A-levels and GCSE’s were acquired at King Edmund School in Rochford, Essex.
