*As a Manager I do like to constantly thrive through businesses values, visions and missions. I implement this through being a first example for others, and by creating activities and strategies that helps the business to achieve its vision and objectives. I often inspire the team by briefing them both in groups, and individually, to develop their personal drive and motivation in order to gain and apply their best skills for reaching business financial targets, service standards, and the general whole job knowledge. *I actively keep an efficient and clear communication with my management team in order to support the achievement of our business mission by planning well ahead –and openly share it with my team by giving full information over it and as well setting out smart targets which are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time bound. *As Manager I try to always be financial conscious, protect the wealth of the business and ensure that any money spend for maintaining the business are spent wisely. *I use forecasting using RPRPRT module in order to get realistic targets, by checking lasts years, last month, last week sales, any outside events that might influence our sales (offers, discounts, set-menu's, bookings in advanced, groups of more than 8,) the type of business for that day (e.g. Weekend Day, bank Holiday), and as well weather wise. I try to keep a clear track of the stock rotation both FOH and BOH, which helps organize a good habit regarding orderings and as well waste management. Restaurant maintenance and repairs related spending, is as well monitored and managed wisely. *I often use repetitive briefings in which I continuously present the business objectives and visions and set out goals for us as a team to reach. I constantly seek to get to know each member of staff more personally, which helps me to figure out the best way to motivate them individually. When the business allows, I motivate the team by setting competitive selling games. I try to keep a clear track of everyone's improvement, and approach it in a positive manner by making regulate staff performance reviews. *I do my best to always be risk aware by identifying any potential risk such as Strategic & Operational, Financial, Human, and Legal. I then manage it by always empowering the team (communicate any updates with the team, give relevant training, create a risk aware environment, report any changes, review regularly, involve relevant people and implement necessary actions). *As business changes I try to cover and communicate all potential risk at place, the probability of happening and the best way to manage it by being solution focused. *I am always aware of our action plan put in place in order to maintain long term goals, core values, codes& conducts, continuous grow and success, and I actively seek talent management and support inside promotion in order to motivate and inspire our team forward. I proactively do this by following the company’s policy of hiring process, induction, training, and reviewing. *I keep an updated customer profile within our business and as well of specific units by actively bringing in knowledge over both qualitative and quantitative feedback in order to define clear what are our guests needs, wants, and expectations. *I constantly use benchmarking by looking around at the competition market (their feedback on tripadvisor, official site, their offers, prices, quality and how the targeted market react to them). *I proactively encourage everyone to follow the factors that make the guests satisfied by creating an environment where we reflect our values (standards, service, quality of our product). *I like to maintain a good team actualization (learn, train, re-train, improve service journey) and as well to sustain a good work culture where both parties are happy and stimulated (happy team, happy guests). *I create a work aware culture in which current law, regulations, *Codes of Conduct, practices, policies and guidelines are correctly followed and reviewed.
