Experience
Provide clear direction, instruction, and guidance to the team of machinists and allocate tasks on daily basis which includes a working knowledge of departmental roles, conduct a daily Start of shift.
• Set and adhere to Daily & Weekly production plans.
• Maintain, identify areas for improvement and implement Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) to the highest standards including risk assessments, relevant investigations, conduct risk assessments and support EHS initiatives using internal system.
• Provide excellent customer service to all areas that the department liaises with
• Maintain working practices and processes to meet quality standards/ standard operating procedures (SOPs)/ skills matrix/ work instructions.
• Daily administrative tasks and reporting including coordinating machine repairs and service schedule.
• Daily Management Meetings RBR reporting, Production, Machines, Process, Head count, Quality, sickness, Holiday, absence, Breakdown, Process Issue.
• Gain an understanding of relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) and how the department contribute to these, Working to critical Machines, Work orders.
• Evaluate individual and team skills with respect to short, medium, and long-term needs.
• Ensure that skills are available and developed, based on versatility, training, mobility, and recruitment.
• Ensure effective career management through One-to-Ones, team reviews etc., and ensure the consistency of individual career development and team rewards.
• Translate company strategy into specific goals that are simple and easy to apprehend.
• Maintain meaningful communication and feedback between teams and management/supervision.
• Leverage teams' strengths to meet goals and challenges.
• Performance management (Safety, Quality, Costs, Delivery, hours generation)
• Able to process information and make key decisions in short times scales.
• Able to manage a cross-functional team.
• Able to adapt and evolve safely depending on current situations to maintain Quality and Delivery.

• Carry out weekly/ monthly team briefings as required.
• Develop cross functional working relationships across the Company.
• Attend and contribute to projects and programmes as requested to support Continuous Improvement
