Isobel Tucker

Experienced in customer service and hospitality. Through working at restaurants, pubs and festivals to charity shops, and most recently starting volunteering at my local library. Also working at the Blackden Trust, which involves conducting tours, catering and workshops for all ages. I am passionate about all things literature and engaging with people. I am also studying at the University of York. 

Experience I have includes: 

• King Street Kitchen - waitressing and front of house 
• Tatton Park Pop Up festival - bar work 
• The White Bear - bar work, often on own. 
• Barnardos Charity Shop - working till and floor management.
• Library - summer reading challenge for primary school children. 
• Hair dressers - front of house and floor management. 
• Babysitting and dog walking. 
• Blackden Trust - tour guide and catering. 

I am currently at University of York and heading into my second year, reding English Literature. In September I take on the role of STYC (second and third year contact) to guide freshers into university life.

I attended Knutsford Academy Trust Sixth Form where I obtained three a-levels and an EPQ. 
I also attended the academy to achieve my GCSE’s. 

I am also proud to have achieved my DoFE up to Gold. 
 

Other experiences I have includes NCS (National Citizen Service) and role as young leader in Scouts. Which I continue to be a part of through Scout Network.
