Isuru Horawala Withanage

My name is H W Isuru Laksahan, and I am currently studying at a Nottingham Trent university. As a student, I can work twenty hours a week, so I hope to work in the care sector during that time. My primary goal is to get a basic understanding of British culture and help people in need.

Once I graduated, I joined N.C.V Industries (Private) Limited (Vpaint Company) as a trainee quality assurance executive from 1st October 2014 to 14th March 2014. After working there for about six months, I joined Naturub International (Pvt) Ltd on March 16, 2015, as a Management trainee and worked there until September 31, 2015. When I was working for Naturub Company, I got an opportunity from a multinational paint manufacturing company called Asian paints Lanka Limited. I started Asian Paint Carrier as a Quality Control Chemist on September 1, 2021, and shortly after that joined the Technology Division as a Research and Development Chemist at the same company. On June 1, 2018, I was promoted to Regional Manager - Technical Sales. I left Asian paints on October 20, 2019, and started working as a Production Executive at Antler Industries (Pvt) Ltd, a local detergent manufacturer, on October 22, 2019, and left on October 21, 2020. Then I joined Asian Paint for the second time as a Technology Executive – Market activation on October 26, 2020, and worked there until August 21, 2021. From August 23, 2021 until coming to the UK, I worked as a Senior Research Executive at Haycolour (Private) Limited, a subsidiary of Hayleys, the largest conglomerate in Sri Lanka.
