I am a confident communicator, who engages well with people of all ages. I previously worked at Dobbies Garden Centre for 18 months, where my main responsibilities were working on the checkouts, restocking and watering and maintaining the plants. During this time I was also a referee. I had to manage difficult situations sometimes and draw on my knowledge of the game and my good communication skills to address any issues. I had to be organised and prepared and gain the respect of the players and the coaches. At school, I gained GCSEs and A-Levels to a high standard and I am currently studying Geography at the University Of Liverpool. In my spare time I go to the gym, regularly play football and golf.

●  My duties at Dobbies were; at the checkout using the tills and helping customers pack their goods, replenish stock on the shop floor, water the plants and answer any customer queries about products or where they might find particular items.

●  This role required me to have good communication skills and maintain a friendly disposition to ensure customers had a pleasurable shopping experience.

●  I worked well as part of the team, supporting colleagues with various duties.

●  I also had to have good knowledge of where items were displayed in the store so I could quickly advise customers where to go.

●  Weekly referee under 11s matches at locations across the county

●  Use the online system to show my availability for refereeing games and confirm allocated games

●  Liaise with team coaches to confirm availability for allocated game

●  On match dates, meet with both coaches prior to kick off to outline playing rules to minimise any potential conflict during the game

●  Explain to the players the standards I expect of them on the pitch prior to kick off.
