About Jack Smith:

I am a 24 year old seeking oportunities within Eurotunel as recomended by one of your current employees. Myself and the entire workforce of P&O were recently made redundant where i was a Deckhand. I have undertaken a variety of courses and training to allow myself to excel within the role. The role also allowed for potentially dangerous situations to arise which is why such comprehensive training is required so I would be confident in being able to manage such situations. The training I have undertaken so far has also improved my ability to be able to work within a team that requires precise and in-depth communication and has taught me how to be creative and adaptable in solving problems within a team and individually. I am always open and eager to undertake more training and courses to expand my education to fulfil a job role to the best of my ability.
I am an extremely enthusiastic individual who is keen to learn knew skills and develop. I feel I would be an excellent fit as my training and qualifications will be easily transferrable. When undertaking group activities, I am confident in taking a leadership role when arranging transportation and organising the logistics. In my current job role, I am also given leadership roles such as familiarisation with a new member of staff, I can manage my time according to priority and efficient in time management. I am an honest, hardworking, and optimistic individual, I think I am able to give credit where it is due to other staff members, good at keeping a positive work moral, I value diversity and I am not afraid to ask for help or guidance where I know I need it.
