About Jack Wright:
Media professional with over two and a half years of experience at Red Bee Media, an international broadcast media services company, where I worked with major UK channels including ITV, Channel 4, and Channel 5. Specialising in broadcast post-production, I’ve managed the ingest, preparation, and quality control of media content using systems such as Stratus, Avid, and Morpheus – ensuring technical precision and seamless on-air delivery in high-pressure environments.
A graduate of City of Glasgow College (Media & Communications, 2019), I bring both technical expertise and creative passion to every project. Driven by a love for all aspects of broadcasting, TV, and film, I thrive on delivering exceptional content that connects with audiences.
Experience
In my previous role as a Media Management Operator at Red Bee Media, I supported major broadcasters such as BBC, ITV, Channel 4, and Channel 5. I coordinated ingest, segmentation, quality control, and delivery workflows to ensure compliance and timely output across TX, VOD, and file-based platforms. I regularly liaised with internal teams and external partners to resolve technical and operational issues, and I logged, tracked, and escalated incidents using tools like Jira, Stratus and Nucleus. I also produced documentation and reports to support audits and streamline team processes. This role strengthened my ability to handle competing priorities, maintain accuracy under pressure, and communicate clearly with a wide range of stakeholders.
As a Store Assistant at Aldi, I further developed my organisational and customer service skills by keeping precise records, following operational procedures, and supporting both colleagues and customers in a fast-paced environment. My earlier experience as a Delivery Driver for Pizza Hut Delivery enhanced my time management and decision-making, particularly in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations. Through my volunteer work with Doc’n Roll Film Festival, I gained additional experience in event coordination, technical setup, stakeholder communication, and schedule management.
Across all roles, I consistently demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work. I take pride in supporting efficient operations, solving problems proactively, and contributing positively to any team or project I’m part of.
Education
I hold a Higher National Diploma in Creative Industries: Media & Communication from the City of Glasgow College, where I developed a strong foundation in project coordination, data management, and digital workflow organisation. Through hands-on work in areas such as content production, editing, journalism, and web design, I learned how to plan, structure, and deliver projects from start to finish.
As part of my coursework, I produced a television pilot script and co-directed a documentary, both of which strengthened my skills in planning, research, documentation, and attention to detail. I also launched a gaming news website, which gave me practical experience in managing digital content, organising files, and communicating with stakeholders. Additional modules in PR and Enterprise helped me refine my ability to coordinate teams, track progress, and report outcomes effectively.
This combination of creative, technical, and organisational training prepared me to excel in structured, deadline-driven environments where accuracy, communication, and efficient process management are essential.
