I am a self-motivated, ambitious and confident individual. My passion for design is much more then just the job it’s self, I’m hungry for a challenge and willing to go the extra mile in this field of work to prove myself.

I am currently working at Hudson Outsourcing where I am a Graphic Designer. My job role covers all areas of design to cover anything that the company or clients might need.

Hudson Outsourcing - Graphic Designer (August 2022 - Present)

In August 2022 I started as Graphic Designer. My main job role and responsibilities included:

While at Hudson Outsourcing I have worked on several projects. I have completed 18 bid designs so far. A single bid on average takes 10 hours to complete which also includes creating a template design, putting the content into the deisgn and then feedback from the client.

The largest project that I have worked on while at Hudson Outsourcing is a full website design for a company which I single handdedly designed. The website was very large and ended up being +50 pages. This project is currently is currently still on going, as once the client gives us the green light I will begin design on the mobile version of their website.

MasterTaag - UI & Graphic Design Manager Intern-ship (August 2021 - February 2022)

In August 2021 I started an intern-ship at MasterTaag which would last for seven months, ending in February 2022. My main job role and responsibilities included
- UI & UX design including awareness of recent design trends
- Project management including tracking and updating the projects progress

- Layout design
- Man management including overseeing other interns

While at MasterTaag I worked on several projects. The first project, which continued throughout my time at MasterTaag, was to create social media posts for Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. I produced these in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. I received feedback on my designs in formal meetings and informal conversations. Once I improved on the design and was given approval from my Managing Director they would be posted on MasterTaag’s social media.

The second project I was part of, and had a leading role in, was the creation of the new online MasterTaag menu design. This involved research into current UI trends. From there I worked on the design each week, then received feedback during formal meetings and informal conversations with the company Managing Director (who was my direct manager). After each meeting, following any feedback, I would improve upon the design to further enhance the menu experience.

My third project was to redesign the companies tutorial videos. These videos are to help customers of MasterTaag understand how set up their MasterTaag menus and the different features that MasterTaag offer for their restaurants. To assist me to complete this project I worked with the company Content Manager. The output of this project was the production of several finalized tutorial videos.

My Final project was the redesign for the company website. For this redesign I used the MasterTaag corporate guidelines and colour scheme. The rekindled website that I created was clean, easy to follow and ultimately professional in appearance.

Over the seven months I worked with several other company personnel and interns within MasterTaag. This gave me experience as working part of a team, and in certain instances leading and managing teams. This helped me improve my communication, time management judgment, and decision making skills. This experience introduced me to man management skills including delegation.

This intern-ship was very useful to me, in as much as I gained a fantastic insight into the real life business application of UI & UX Design.

Sheffield Hallam University - Graphic & UI Design (September 2019 - May 2022)

In September 2019 I started at Sheffield Hallam University studying Graphic Design which would last for three years, ending in May 2022. My main aim from these three years was to develop my design skills and find what area of design I want to specialise in.

My first year at Sheffield Hallam University taught me so much valuable information about design and allowed me to make connections with future designers. Throughout my first year studying at this university I learnt and tested my skills in new areas of design.

Coming into my second year at Sheffield Hallam University was different as most of the year was taught online due to Covid and pushed me to complete projects at home rather then in the university studios.

In my third year I decided to specialise in UI & UX design because this is the area of design I want to focus on in the future. During my final year I completed three projects where the main aspect of design was UI & UX. Other areas of design that I focus on are editorial and type design.

I Graduated from Sheffield Hallam in May 2022 finishing with a 2.1 and a greater understanding of graphic design. My university experience showed me what my main passion in design is and I wish to continue UI & UX design in the future.
