My recent experience as a Trainee Cyber Security Consultant at CAPSLOCK has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of practical cybersecurity. During the intensive 16-week BootCamp, I successfully completed projects that involved developing a training plan to promote a strong security culture and formulating a plan to reduce phishing risks within an organisation alongside risk assessments and reports. 

 

As a Principal Recruitment Consultant at Heat Recruitment, I specialised in recruiting for niche roles within the cybersecurity sector. This experience provided me with a deep understanding of the industry and the ability to collaborate with clients in building dedicated cybersecurity teams post-cybersecurity incidents.

 

My technical proficiency includes hands-on experience with SIEM tools such as Qradar and Splunk, GRC, VmWare, Wireshark, Linux, and PowerShell. I have completed my Certified Cyber Security Practitioner (Ce-CSP), ISO27001, and CCSK v4. Writing SOC reports and working to run Audits and Risk assessment using the Octave / Mitre/NIST frameworks.

 

This role aligns perfectly with my skill set and aspirations. I am excited about the opportunity to bring my cybersecurity expertise to your team and further enhance my skills in a dynamic environment.
