About James Woolley:

I am currently 16 (turning 17 in September) and have recently finished my GCSEs. This marks a turning point in my progress towards adulthood and I now wish to enter the world of work. I am a hard working and passionate individual who will work his hardest to achieve any work set. I can show dedication, punctuality and professionalism and can prove this through past experiences and achievements. Alongside this I carry a friendly personality and good conversational skills. Overall I believe I would be beneficial to a team and hope to be considered.

Classroom Assistant, St. Anne’s Primary School, Stafford (June 2023)

 

●       Arranged by me through contacting the school themselves.

●       Worked with the Year 1 class.

●       Helped the pupils with their work.

●       Supported the way lessons were presented and comprehended.

●       Helped teachers monitor playtime and ensure safety of the children.

●       Maintained a safe, clean and organised classroom environment.

●       Completed odd jobs around the classroom and also the school site.

●       Feel this benefited me greatly and gave me an insight into the world of work.

 

 

 Lawn Care Services, Self Employment, Stafford (March 2020 - Present)

 

●       Also work by mowing both my Grandparent’s lawns and doing cuts for people around my area.

●       Voluntary work.

●       Requires skills of work as I have to advertise my work and additionally show dedication and punctuality.

●       I show these by arriving on time to client’s houses with a ready to work attitude consisting of professionalism and good conversational skills.

●       Always aiming to make every person satisfied.

●       Doing this work gains experience and improves certain skills which can be applied to various roles.

 

VOLUNTEERING

●       Bag packing for the public at my local supermarket, organised with Scouts

●       Litter picking at nearby green areas, organised with Scouts.

●       Carol singing at care homes around Christmas time, organised with Scouts.
