• I am a Chartered IT Consultant with experience of an extensive range of business processes & database systems. I have a particular focus on software development and database migration to SQL using Access & Excel VBA.
  I also have experience of Oracle PL/SQL, PHP MySQL.   
   
• My most recent contract from 2020 to March 2024 has been with Scheff Foods. I created a complete system in Microsoft Access, SQL and VBA which included planning, stock control, outgoing goods, purchasing, costing, HR Systems and much more.
• Before that in 2018 I played a key role at the EDF Nuclear Energy Programme Office as lead in optioneering and provision of the most appropriate platform and structure for migration of their legacy reporting Excel/Access Systems.  To this end I developed a key solution in Oracle PL/SQL to enable loading and manipulation of Excel data. 
  I also maintained and enhanced Access, Excel, SQL and VBA systems used to manage high risk events.
• Then at Schaeffler Automotive, in addition to migrating systems, creating solutions, etc,  I wrote software to enable the publishing of Tractor and Automotive Parts Catalogues. I also created data migration ETL tools to extract and manipulate data from the SAP TecDoc automotive parts database SAP (TecDoc to Microsoft Access, SQL and VBA).
• From 2012 at CMCA, I setup and administered their SQL Server and SQL databases which were the backend to their in-house Access systems. I enhanced these systems and also wrote solutions for one of their principle clients, Rolls-Royce Nuclear Submarines. I also developed tools to streamline another client's systems, NATO codification, by integrating the online Codification Support Information Systems into CMCA’s internal codification systems using webscraping and injection techniques I wrote in VBA, html & javascript.. 
  
  Prior to CMCA I had many contracts, but the most relevant are above.
