Jamie Lord

I've worked within telecoms for seven years, moving to a company called Telent in 2020 where I worked on the NRTS project. I worked my way up to a senior engineer and completed my level four apprenticeship. I then changed roles to move over to O&M for more experience on the fault side. I'm also currently studying for my honours degree in IT and Computing with a second subject in Business. I'm in my first year and recently got a distinction in my TM111 module.

I have seven years of comprehensive experience within the telecommunications sector. Since joining Telent in 2020, I have been focused on major infrastructure work, primarily on the NRTS project.

During my time at Telent, I successfully advanced my career, achieving the position of Senior Engineer and completing a Level 4 Apprenticeship. To broaden my technical expertise, I transitioned into an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) role, gaining significant hands-on experience in fault diagnosis and resolution.

In parallel with my professional commitments, I am currently in the first year of studying for an Honours Degree in IT and Computing, with Business as my secondary subject, where I recently achieved a distinction in the TM111 module.
