Creative , experienced teacher with many years within special education

Experience

Trained in dance and drama and after several years of  working in this area I entered the teaching profession.

Used many of my skills to teach across the curriculum and found the area I loved within special needs.

I use makaton  and have taken courses in   Pool safety and team teach.

Education

Worked in a special needs school for 14 years prior to moving to Bristol.

The school catered for 11 to  16 year olds many of whom had global development delay and were on the autistic spectrum

I was a class teacher and as such contributed to curriculum planning  and all aspects of school life.
