I am Jeevan Thapa, a dedicated IT professional with a strong background in computer networking and cyber security. My journey includes an MSc and BSc from the University of London Metropolitan University, showcasing a passion for cutting-edge technology. In my past role, I  worked as a Cyber Engineer at Darktrace.LTD, where I contribute my expertise in network security. My diverse professional background, leadership experience, and linguistic versatility in English, Hindi, and Nepali have shaped my career. My professional experience showcases a dynamic journey in the fields of computer networking and cyber security, characterized by academic achievements and hands-on roles in leading organizations.

**Education:** I hold an MSc in Computer Networking and Cyber Security, graduating with an upper second-class honours degree (2:1), and a BSc in Computer Networking, both from the University of London Metropolitan University. These degrees equipped me with a strong foundation in network security and cutting-edge technologies.

**Current Role:** I currently serve as a Cyber Engineer at Darktrace.LTD in London, a position I've held since March 2022. In this role, I install Darktrace appliances, design custom client integrations, and provide technical expertise in network traffic. I also work on cutting-edge technologies, including AWS, Azure, VMware, and Hyper-V.

**Additional Professional Roles:** My career has spanned various roles, including a Post-Person with a Van at Royal Mail Wantage, a Store Colleague at Tesco LTD, and an IT Apprentice at Integrated Gurkha Security Services/Brooklands College. These positions have allowed me to develop a diverse skill set, from customer service and delivery logistics to IT support and troubleshooting.

**Leadership Experience:** I've also had the opportunity to showcase leadership skills as a Team Leader at BNS Colorama Laxmico LTD, where I learned the importance of teamwork, professionalism, and customer service.

My skill set includes expertise in computer networking, operating systems, communication, teamwork, organizational skills, problem-solving, and troubleshooting. Furthermore, my fluency in English, Hindi, and Nepali reflects my multicultural background and adaptability in diverse environments.

**MSc in Computer Networking and Cyber Security:** I graduated with an upper second-class honors degree (2:1) in March 2021. The program equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of network security, cyber threats, and the integration of artificial intelligence to enhance data and network security. My final year project, an Artificial Intelligence integrated cyber security system, reflects my ability to analyze cutting-edge network security innovations and design advanced solutions for unparalleled data protection. This program has been instrumental in developing my expertise in the field of cyber security.

**BSc in Computer Networking:** I graduated with an upper second-class honors degree (2:1) in August 2020. This program laid the foundation for my knowledge in computer networking, including wireless network security, and the intricacies of securing network access. My final year project, focusing on WPA2 Enterprise and Home Office Network security, provided valuable insights into wireless network encryption and authentication protocols. This educational background has been crucial in building my proficiency in computer networking.
