I am a person-centred psychotherapist who works in private practice (since May 2020) working with individuals of differing age groups, specialising in anxiety, loss, childhood trauma, strained parent child relationships of all ages and infertility. 

I have been a qualified therapist for 6 years, and trained at City College Southampton through Middlesex University London.

I work as a school Counsellor (since January 2022) on a self employment basis and also for betterhelp (since February 2023) to boost private practice, where I get to work with clients from different countries, cultures and backgrounds. This has helped to enrich my practice and enabled professional growth. 

I am trained in couples counselling (since July 2021). 

I enjoy learning and don't plan to stop anytime soon. CPD is a huge part of my profession and it also helps me to grow and thrive personally as well as professionally. 

I am family oriented and love to travel and feel these two components are a large part of the person I am.

Experience

6 years of being a qualified therapist working as a volunteer for the first year after qualifying, then onto private practice during lockdown 2020 - present, and then obtaining a school Counsellor position in 2022 - present. I briefly worked as a fertility Counsellor for 7 months in 2022, and most recently working for betterhelp from 2023 - present. 

Education

BA in Person-centred counselling and Psychotherapy.  

Couples counselling BACP accredited qualification in 2021. 

CPD of 40+ hours annually. 

In the process of obtaining my BACP accreditation this year.
