Technically and practically minded, extremely driven and relish new challenges that require critical thinking and problem solving. I have a keen interest in new technologies and their applications. I enjoy the process of learning new skills which allow me to broaden my technical knowledge and understanding. I am currently in the process of acquiring the CompTIA Network+ and Security+ Certifications to accompany the A+ Certification and am also preparing for the Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate Certification. Practice Manager/1st Line Support  – Millennium Chambers/Reform Chambers Feb 2019 to current

  • Responsibilities

Practice Manager to both Millennium and Reform Chambers, sole management of practice diary, circa 50 barristers. First point of contact for the criminal team with regards to case allocation, diary management and fee negotiations. Primary point of contact to all members in conjunction with 3rd party support in regard to IT troubleshooting queries, the set-up of member secure and non-secure email accounts on multiple devices, diary access and technical issues regarding the use of Skype For Business, Microsoft Teams and the HMCTS Cloud Video Platform.

  • Key Skills / Projects

Assisted In the development of the current Chambers web site with a specific focus on member profiles and email hosting. Assisted in the implementation of a secure file hosting platform harnassing blockchain encryption enabling staff members and Chambers tenants access to sensitive legal files and documentation.

Process Technical Operator/Recipe Coordinator    – Muller UK & Ireland Minsterley, Shropshire January 2008 to February 2019 

  • Responsibilities

A member of the Process department. Responsible for the production of a wide range of chilled dessert products via the operation of plant equipment through the use of ACCOS and APV systems. Ensuring 0% loss of service through the monitoring of KPI targets, CIP and preventative maintenance procedures. Responsible for aiding both process and filling departments in the design, modification and implementation of new and pre-existing recipes via the Wonderware InBatch control system. 

  • Key Skills / Projects

Helped identify and rectify valve timing issues equating to an approximate saving of £60,000 per year. Established an unrealised cost saving measure in relation to storage tank line purge waste saving approximately £16,800 per year. Supported in the testing and fault analysis of plant systems as a member of the project team for a site wide APV/ACCOS upgrade. Developed a sound understanding of ACCOS Paracode and its subsequent relation to plant systems and processes, allowing me to assist team members and engineering in troubleshooting and resolving a wide variety of issues.

 

Technical Administrator – Loan Redress Limited August 2014 to January 2018

  • Responsibilities 

Helped establish this successful business in 2014 to support small and medium sized enterprises that had been adversely affected by Interest Rate Swap Misselling, also known as “Tailored” Business Loans. Provided technical support and solutions to streamline the workflow pipeline allowing for maximum efficiency and operational performance. First point of contact in respect of user technical issues and queries.

  • Key Skills / Projects

Instrumental in the development and implementation of a Database System for the tracking and monitoring of client cases. Helped establish novel solutions to client acquisition via the use of analysis software and research tools. Assisting directors and liaising with Royal Bank Of Scotland resulting in the successful redress of over £1 million to one SME. Implemented and supervised a cost effective hosting platform through the use of RDP, enabling users convenient and efficient access to resources and system functionality from any location.
