Experience
I am an enthusiastic, self-motivated mechanical engineer and PPL (aircraft) pilot. Also an experienced senior aerospace and defense publications technical engineer, and currently as a senior Ocado senior mechanical engineer. I have over 20 years’ experience working as a technical engineer supporting engineering projects. Previously i worked at the Boeing Aircraft company as a Service Bulletin and Component Maintenance technical engineer (E4), where i produce new and revised technical publications such as Installation Manuals, Maintenance Manuals with repairs, overhaul, and Service Bulletins from drawings, technical source data and process documentation with in-depth engineering liaison skills and validation work.
I am hard working, reliable, and conscientious, with a very keen eye for detail. I am also experienced in hands-on engineering in a workshop and customer environments. I have a high level of experience using hand and machine tools, fabricating work to a high standard and to customer specifications. My personal interests are based around engineering, classic cars, and aviation. I have held a full PPL fixed wing pilot license since 2007.

Progress reporting, workflow activities, and setting work priority. Strong communications skills with stakeholders including negotiation and problem solving. Checking work quality and team outputs with metrix capture. Configuring templates and stylesheets within our Flare authoring tool. Setting out new build processes and agreeing their content with stakeholders. Attending stage gate meetings with major stakeholders for “go-no-go” decisions, with direct engineering input for installation and maintenance matters related to the project rollout. Continuous in-depth engineering liaison, building strong design team relationships and always a team player with my own technical solutions and ideas.
