I did a month-long placement at Bella Tela, where I was able to gain industry experience in creating high-fashion fabrics for designers. Throughout my placement, I have learned about communicating with others in the industry and the creation of tech packs. As well as getting hands-on experience for prepping to go to premiere vision and the entire process of developing commercially viable designs. From the sizes of motifs drawn to suit clothing to the development process and choosing suitable materials to meet clients' needs.  Furthermore, I did a placement at Frugi organic childrenwear company as a design intern. It is was great working with the design team at Frugi being able to be in industry environment. During my time there I learned so many valuable skills and learned a lot about manufacturing and the design, and research process. Being able to work on-site was amazing.

I have recently completed a degree in Textile Design achieving a 2:1. Over the three years I have learned lots of different skills which allow me to dip into lots of different sections of the industry confidentiality. From digital design to embroidery.
