About Jessica Huynh:

I graduated from OCAD University in Toronto, Canada, in Environmental Design (B.Des) in 2017 with an architectural thesis on Community Regeneration. While navigating the pandemic and prior to moving to the UK, I worked as the Assistant Manager at a non-profit Music School located in Regent Park - one of Toronto's low income neighbourhoods - also a place where I grew up taking subsidized music lessons. There, I used my design background to help with community outreach initiatives while creating programming for youth.

I'm passionate about combining my design background with projects on community engagement. I'm well versed in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.

Experience

8+ years of experience in working for community arts and youth organizations, with experience in customer service and a design background (skills in Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD) - seeking to jumpstart a design career that serves the community.
