University graduate seeking work in widening participation/social mobility sector to start June.

I have been an intern on the Ignite project at the University of Southampton since February 2021. The project supports students from care and disadvantaged IMDQ1 backgrounds to get the most of university. My role involves collating feedback from students, creating reports, helping plan and deliver workshops, admin support and 1-1 student support.

I also volunteer for Southampton Hub a charity supporting disadvantaged youth at our local schools. I am the schoolsplus co-ordinator which helps to provide free tutoring, in class support and after school clubs in the local area. The role involves volunteer management of up to 30 students a term, delivering training workshops, organising socials and fundraisers as well as managing a small sub-committee.

I am currently completing a history degree, graduating summer 2022 and predicted high 2.1/1st
