A  Broadcast journalist for over 20 years,  specialising in African movies (and music), with a deep and functional knowledge of the Nigerian (Nollywood)  industry. Also understand the market trends and viewing culture of the UK African community. 

Created and developed a digital media platform Screennolly , with Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok accounts that reports about the Nigerian (Nollywood) industry through diverse range of content such as movie reviews, promos, features, and other curated concepts aimed at generating engagement and interest in subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) platforms.

Able to adapt well to new environments,  learn new processes quickly to achieve outstanding results even to a deadline. Strong ability to multi-task and prioritise, and able to organise. Seeking a new, challenging role  which will utilise my existing skills.

Maintain a Website with,FB IG & TIKTOK pages that reports on the Nigerian Movie Industry as well as African movies  with reviews, features and other curatorial concept.  

  • Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms and build meaningful connections which encourage followers’ engagement
  • Implement strategies to drive engagement through authentic and relevant content that emphasises brand voice and value.
  • Create  curatorial concepts such as genre-based and actor-centric provisioning that's authentic, relevant and innovative,  emphasising brand presence and value.
  • Measure and analyse data (Followers, Likes & overall views)to determine how to improve engagements
