Positive and vibrant, I am a naturally talented and dedicated teaching professional with 10 years of classroom experience.

A fun and positive educator with over 10 years of classroom experience and an endless enthusiasm to inspire learners. One of my key strengths is to scaffold learning successfully, communicating concepts, especially in science, that reinforce and progress the development of the student.

I have a natural ability to question effectively and probe students to gage a sense of their learning, adopting assessment for learning techniques and forming targets based on identified strengths, misconceptions and gaps.

My teaching ethos is adaptive, constantly reacting to obstacles in learning and responding to the needs of the individual student. I maintain high expectations of students where behaviour is managed, and their learning environment is based upon mutual respect and encouragement.

The theme to my lessons is to promote independent thinkers where students feel confident to think critically, explore mistakes and be inspired to gain knowledge and be inquisitive. I enjoy designing my own enriching resources

I graduated from the University of Brighton in 2009 with Qualified Teacher Status from the UK. I have since continued to develop professionally and my most recent training was in retrieval practices in Science.
