Joe Brazao

At Nexus Studios, I do spatial UX design for an upcoming XR headset by a well-known tech company. I'm working on an immersive streaming app to play live and on-demand content. I'm responsible for the end-to-end work of several features and the CMS that broadcasters will use.

At Disguise, I was the product experience designer for industry-leading platforms that power high-profile productions, from Adele and Taylor Swift’s tours to Netflix, Disney, and Amazon’s biggest shows. This includes the interior of the Las Vegas Sphere.

Before that, I was the first UX designer at Zappar, where I hired and managed the design team, leading the design for XR creative tools that are used for content creation for global brands. I led the creation of Zappar's design systems, CMS dashboards, and branding for the 5 brands under the Zappar umbrella.

Completed immersive courses in user-centred design and product strategy, focusing on research, prototyping, and defining KPIs to guide product growth.

Studied design principles, typography, and visual communication through practical, industry-based briefs and tight creative deadlines.

Explored visual storytelling, photography, and character development, building a foundation in empathy and creative direction that continues to inform my UX practice.
