- More than 24 years of experience in complex EPC projects delivery root cause analysis and dynamic problem solving skills enhanced by BENG (Honours) and MBA professional qualifications.
- 330kV Switching experience and associated Senior Authorisations to include ENA accredited 132kV Scottish and Southern Switching Senior Authorisations and management of safety from systems on private networks such as Network rail, up to level A Authorisation status.
- Lead delivery of £600M Electrical infrastructure scope on a £1.6bn wind development project, including management of tender awarding process and contractors day to day management on sites.
- Turned around a failing turn key power utility GIS switchgear change and 132kV cables diversion project (£35M), through agile dynamic planning, delivery programme re-organisation and collaborative leadership skills.
- SMSTS and CSCS (for professionals & managers) accredited, with current detailed knowledge of Construction Design Management (CDM) 2015 regulations and management of Health, Safety and Environmental Regulations.
- Successfully lead delivery of rail E&P third rail southern power supply upgrade EPC projects from initiation to closure, to include leading project delivery team, contractors and managing a complex supply chain.
- Trackable record for managing design and build projects from conceptual designs, through detailed design production and review processes (IDC & IDR) to construction, commissioning and scheme handover.
- Proficiency in contract management to include NEC3 options A & C, to include delivery change control process, risk and opportunities management. Making use of risk reduction meetings to manage evolving risks and spotting opportunities.
