* Conduct quality and standards checks each morning around the venue

* Ensure clear communication is given to the food service team regarding any defaults and    

    checking all requests are followed through by catering management team

* Have presence in all: restaurant/break out areas to ensure that the catering standards are

    met and are running in accordance with the booking schedule and all clients 

* Effectively manage all members of the food service team on a day-to-day basis and carry

    out performance reviews twice yearly, implementing training and development programs      

 *Responsible for all inductions and training of the food service team

 * Ensure all food and beverage expenses are kept in line with the budget, whilst maintaining 

                         a consistently high-quality product and standards

 * Control staff budget for temporary staff within the food services team and ensure all 

                   overtime payments are preauthorized by the Venue Manager    

  * Hold regular maintenance checks within the catering outlets and promptly report                                              maintenance through Sharepoint
