About Joseph Onawumi:
A motivated professional with a Level 5 diploma in housing management with a master’s in health and social care management passionate about managing properties with extensive administrative and customer service experience in housing management. Possessing considerable knowledge of tenancy issues and having excellent interpersonal and communication skills to advise tenants and resolve complex letting issues. Experience
Provide a range of comprehensive support packages to vulnerable tenants to enable them to establish and sustain a tenancy and live independent lives in the community, vetting potential tenants to ensure they are eligible for general needs and supportive housing. Also responsible for ensuring that properties are in good condition and well maintained.
- Review properties for HMO and selective licensing requirements
- Effectively manage health, safety, and compliance in line with housing regulators
- Oversee and managing of Maintenance staff, Tenancy Support Officer, Support Coordinators, and Income officers, ensuring they are achieving their KPIs.
- Ensure effective, sensitive support and housing management practices are maintained by implementing policies and procedures.
- Responsible for tracking occupancies and marketing to achieve occupancy target.
- Ensure service standards are achieved and meet individual requirements of the project.
- Ensure tenancy and licence agreement follows the correct laws and is updated when the law changes.
- Liaise with health and social care providers, voluntary agencies and others assisting tenants to maintain their accommodations.
